People are continuing to lose money at the pumps again, but this time it's not because of gas prices. Identity thieves install devices on gas pumps, a technique called "skimming", that record credit and debit card information.
The average person won't notice the devices, which can be placed inside or outside the pump.
Criminals have been caught doing this in California, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Washington, and Nevada.
